New Driving Privileges Request

If the Court has granted potential driving privileges, you are required to provide the following information to the Willoughby Probation Department prior to review for the issuance of driving privileges.  The required information must be emailed as follows:

​If you have a pending or recently completed case in the Court and have not had privileges previously issued, please email: driving@willoughbycourt.com

​If you are on probation or have had privileges previously issued, please email your assigned probation officer.

Required Documentation:

1.​ For privileges for employment, proof of employment in the form of a recent paystub or letter from your employer.

2.​ Proof of current vehicle insurance with your name on the card/policy as an insured driver.

Upon receipt of the above information, the Probation Department will review the BMV report to determine if you are eligible for the issuance of driving privileges.  

If you are deemed to be eligible, the privileges will be prepared and an email response sent to you from the Probation Department advising of the date your privileges will be available for pick up.  

​If you are deemed to be ineligible, the Probation Department will send an email response advising of the reason you are not eligible and what steps are necessary for you to take to become eligible.  Once those items have been taken care of, you must notify the Probation Department via email and request a review for issuance of privileges.  If you are deemed eligible, the above procedure will be followed.
