Judge Harry Field began his first six year term as the elected Judge of the Willoughby Municipal Court on January 1, 2012. Judge Field is a Willoughby resident and has one adult son, Michael (married to Melissa) and one grandson.

Prior to his election he was the Court’s Chief Magistrate for eight years. He further served as an Acting Judge of the Willoughby Municipal Court since 1983.

Before joining the Court he was in the private practice of law in Lake County beginning in 1971. Judge Field received his B.A. from Ohio State University and his Juris Doctorate through Case Western Reserve University School of Law.

Judge Field is a member of the Lake County Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Ohio Judicial Conference, the Association of Municipal/County Judges of Ohio, Northern Ohio Municipal Judges Association and the American Judge’s Association.
