Payment Methods and After Hours/Weekend Payments
The Clerk's office will accept payment in the forms of cash, money order, certified bank check, personal check, and credit or debit card. Personal checks presented at the Clerk's office require a driver's license as identification. Visa and MasterCard credit/debit cards are accepted so long as the presenter of the card is the cardholder. A driver's license is required as identification on credit/debit card transactions. Credit/debit card payments by phone are accepted from the cardholder only and the card must be physically in the cardholder's presence at the time the telephone transaction is processed.
